The Film Society has been a great opportunity for John — a nuclear scientist from the grim part of Dublin — as it's given him kudos for knowledge he doesn't possess. Always glad to help, just ask him the name of any film, actor, or director and he'll be able to tell you the first thing that comes into his head. Like “I’m hungry” or “Where is the station?”.

John appears courtesy of cobwebs, seaweed and Gin ‘n’ Tonic, and when he's not on the phone to NASA he enjoys watching The Den.
